Reports said two motorcycle-borne youths with their faces covered stopped in front of the two brothers and fired two shots. Police said passers-by rushed them to a hospital, where the two were declared “brought dead” .
Faizabad senior superintendent of police R K Chaturvedi said a case has been lodged against unidentified persons. “Prima facie, it looks like a family dispute,” he said.
A heavy police force has been deployed in Gosaiganj town. “Bodies of the two traders have been sent for cremation after postmortem,” said the SSP.
